Brand new audiotour and website

For Mauritshuis we created a brand new website and interactive audiotour app. The multilingual and colorful website is full of lovely content. Besides the wide range of exhibitions, unique collection and planning your visit, we fully focussed on telling the best stories where everything comes together. Read the unknown details, compare different versions of artworks, play a quiz or listen to the many audio fragments which are recorded by people from the museum like Abbie Vandivere and Charlotte Rulkens but also from outside the museum like Auke-Florian Hiemstra, Janice Deul and Diergaarde Blijdorp - Rotterdam Zoo. All of them will tell their perspective on an artwork, master or story. More a fan of art related music? Listen to the breathtaking songs by Eefje de Visser, Willy Wartaal and Jett Rebel. 

Once you’ve bought your ticket, the journey continues. For the visitors of Mauritshuis we created a multilingual experience for in the museum. There are two ways to discover the collection; on your own or via the various tours. By scanning the QR code or entering a number, visitors are able to do their own tours. But the best way is ofcourse to choose from the interactive tours which are full of lovely details and extra images of the artwork. Each tour has its own audio fragments, which are recorded by various people from in and outside the museum. And yes, ofcourse we also thought of a clear floorplan and search feature. This app is a real extension of the museum, check it out on iOS and Android!

Met de nieuwe website en multimediatour willen we het Mauritshuis positioneren als een laagdrempelig, toegankelijk museum, waar je persoonlijk geraakt wordt door een collectie die je ooit in je leven gezien móet hebben. Dit willen we doen door zelf meer verhalen te vertellen, maar juist ook door anderen aan het woord te laten over onze collectie.
